Welcome to my life! Here, you’ll find everything from DIY décor, health, beauty, fashion, lifestyle and even just some of my favourite things. This blog is a place for you all to see a little into my life and what I love. I can’t wait to share with you the things that I am passionate about and to see where it takes us.
A little about me:
I’m a 21-year old university student in British Columbia, Canada. Growing up, I trained as a competitive figure skater. Although I no longer compete, being active and eating healthy still plays a huge role in my life. I’m still learning to navigate the kitchen though, so bear with me. Apart from being in school, I am a spin instructor at a local studio. I am completely OBSESSED. Not just with the workout, but every aspect of the class and the motivation and feeling that it brings out of myself and all my riders.
A few quick facts:
- I love all the seasons and holidays (You can ask my boyfriend- he gets dragged to festive things)
- I have a bit of a knack for DIY crafting and sewing
- I am a coffee addict (see pic)
- I own way too much Lululemon (although I don’t really think that’s possible)
Recently a big change happened in my life. To preface, since I was 16 years old I’ve balanced working 5-6 days a week. Safe to say I’m a bit of a workaholic, but I’ve been extremely lucky as every job I’ve had was a passion that I was able to put my heart into. My work, life, balance has been okay at best though. And so, I decided it was time for a change. I QUIT MY JOB. This was probably one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. Did I mention before I was 16, I was training 6 days a week?? I really like being busy. So here I am, in a bit of a panic that I’ll have too much free time (yes, I know I sound crazy). In all of this recent unknowing, I was able to sit down and really think about what I wanted, possibilities endless. I’ve had a desire to start a blog for what feels like forever (I actually have, but got busy so it got forgotten) and thought what’s a better time than right now. And here we are.
